Mark Otto Specialties is a handyman type of service company that privides a wide array of home repairs, maintenace, and remodeling. I specialize in smaller jobs rather than larger projects so I can make myself more available, and flexible to accomodate customer's schedules.
Working in this field for 40 years now gives me the experience and knowledge to help out with a wide variety of tasks whether its actual work, planning or just advice.

I take pride in advising customers what options there are when approaching a project or repair. Budgets and time frames don't always allow for simply replacing with new. I can offer ideas and alternatives, while being realistic about results and costs.
Aside from the experience and repair, 99% of the time when you call I'll answer- if not I'll get back shortly, same goes for texts. If I have an appointment I'll be on time or call well before. Simple courtesies such as those and complete trust are so important for someone working in your home!

Expert Residential Handyman Services
I, Mark Jensen, started in 1985, as a self employed contractor doing a variety of repair and maintenance work. Over the years I evolved working out of a small shop, then out of my home, then later to a larger shop. My work included residential interior work as well as commercial work. Utilizing my shop space, I had the opportunity to get into cabinet making for an interior design firm and several corporate customers. I also kept with my regular residential customers to include some bathroom, and kitchen renovations and counter top fabrication. As opportunities arose, I was involved in several house renovations/flips, working both individually and with partners. In later years a commercial customer offered me a full time position which simplified my life at the time, and I continued there for almost 20 years, to present day. Now after some changes, I’m able to be back on my own offering personable handyman services in Baltimore County. I grew up in nearby Baldwin, and moved to Perry Hall in 1995 with my wife and raised our family here. I’m looking forward to rebuilding a customer base and continuing to help however I can!
